to make up for lack of tuesday jazz

i took a bit of time out to write a script to pull down new music from music websites, so i can listen to things while on the train & find new stuff w/o having to flip through the interwebs in a browser

anyway, it seems i'm a bit rusty in python... not done much since last fall, really.

as such, it took me 2 hours...

but here we go, all comes down to single loop:

Tycho (who i've always assumed is named after tycho brahe, the astronomer that improved on copernican revolution to (which would've been impossible without kepler's data) makes lovely blissed out IDM.

it appears to have been offline for nearly a year, now... and i can't find any information about it.

it was the best net radio station ever.

in looking today, again, for what happened - found a great site that interviews a lot of electronic musicians, which is rad, i never knew what most of them looked like. not like it matters. but still quite cool.

but... as to what happened to systrum system... no idea.

after buying ticket months in advance, seeing them grow from obscure band that barely filled empty bottle & subterranean to selling out the vic... i stayed in to work!
